Lindenauer, Theodora Nancy. 82. Loving mother of Peter and Jennifer, beloved grandmother of Bix, Quincy and Ursula, sister of Jeff, and auntie to Ethan, Peter, Jacob, Maria, Sarah, Yolanda, and Rosa. Widow of Geoffrey to whom she was married for 42 years. Nancy was a graduate of Syracuse University, and devoted a long career to public education, beginning as a classroom teacher and ultimately serving nearly 25 years as the principal of the Searingtown Elementary School where she was revered as an educator and mentor. Nancy always saw and brought out the best in people and developed and maintained a large circle of dear friends throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
