Condolences

Condolence From: Neil Lipes
Condolence: Sadly I just discovered the passing of my Aunt Ruth Lipes Gelman, who I affectionately called "Ru" as did my father, her older brother Martin "Moishe" Lipes. Fortunately I did get to visit with her on two occasions some years ago, once alone and another with my cousin Stuart Goodman, who's Mother Fay, was Aunt Ruth's best friend growing up in Brooklyn. The memories of Aunt "Ru" are all wonderful and loving.....she was a tender giving individual, who was there for her family, even when times were not the best.
No matter how close families are, the sad reality is that most tend to drift apart, and only when information of their passing reaches the extended family are those individual(s) so informed.
My father and his eldest sister shared a very close loving relationship, cut short upon his death in 1982........I shall always remember the good times, and say rest in peace Aunt "Ru".......and to her children Roshelle and Larry, my sincere condolences.
