Obituary for Irwin Sanford Singer
Irwin S. Singer passed away on January 24, 2018.
He was born in New York City and grew up in Queens where he later attended Queens College. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in the early 1950's working nights and going to school in the daytime. He served in Frankfurt Germany and went on to obtain his MD in Zurich, Switzerland. Upon his return to the U.S. he was a successful Radiologist with several locations in Brooklyn. An avid fan of tennis, he won a squash tournament with his two sons. He was a beloved and devoted husband. He was proud of educating his two sons who are successful doctors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity below.
