Obituary for Angelo Ripillino

Angelo John Ripillino

March 30, 1933 - May 10, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Angelo Ripillino announces his passing on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at the age of 87. Angelo will be lovingly remembered by his wife Catherine of 65 years, his children, Cynthia, Angela, and Ruthy, his 10 grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Justin, Elizabeth, Thomas, Jessica, Catherine, Jonathan, Matthew, and Andrew, and his 4 great grandchildren, Jorge, Aliyah, Mia, and Isabella.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to hold funeral services, due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Angelo will be taken from Sherman's Flatbush Memorial Chapel to his final resting place at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island, NY, on Friday, May 15, 2020. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Angelo was born in Brooklyn, NY to his parents Dominick and Maria Ripillino, where he remained his entire life. He was the youngest of his siblings, Joe, Jack, and Mary. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a printer by trade, but his passion was gardening. He took pride in his plants and flowers, spending hours caring for them.

He was a Godly man and walked with the Lord. Anyone who knew Angelo knew that he put God first. The way he lived his life was a testimony for Jesus.

We will miss our precious father more than words could ever express. Our dear mother has lost the love of her life. He was a kind and loving man, always putting his family first. His sense of humor could brighten up the darkest day.
